Welcome to the group and I wish you well on your quest. Let us know how things progress for you. Yes, people can be so cruel to us, can't they? Like we have no feelings--like the fat has taken over the space where the feelings used to be. Geeesh!! (The ironic part of that rude-mouthed doctor's statement is that the only way you could have weighed what a " normal " person does, is if there WAS a faminie in the land! They just don't get it, do they?) Guest guest
Hi , Welcome to the list. I also am pre-op and have multiple orthopedic problems. It is so difficult to get around and to sleep with the pain at night. I hope that you are able to get insurance approval. Most of all I wanted to say that that was a stupid, stupid thing that that doctor told you. I am sorry that you had to go through that. I can only hope that he packs on a 100 excess pounds or so one day so that he can learn a little empathy! Welcome. Stormy > Hello to you all. My name is .
