Guest guest
In regard to what Flo said about the orange fatty material. I am a pre-op and I can identify with that. I am on Xenical which is made to block 30% of the fat I consume and makes it indigestible. When I urinate or have a bowel movement I have this stuff floating in the toilet bowl. It has affected me to the point where passing gas is not possible because if I do..Yes you guessed it. Just wanted to add that the fat that is consumed after the surgery is probably indigestible, so it comes out looking like that With Love, Lara M. My husband thinks I'm crazy. Why would I want to > eat if I'm not hungry! Some people, many people experience this. It may take some time. Try different things that you CAN eat and see if that helps. Try not to prepare meals right now if you can get by with it. Get someone else to or buy some prepared things you can throw on the table. Try some meditation. Keep telling yourself that soon you can have SOME of ANYTHING you want, but for now you are healing and that is more important than anything else. Try to get some protein in because that helps with hunger. I suspect that the juice thing which is so high in carbs makes some people hungry. If you were main lining sugar (like most of us) before surgery, you body may be missing its fix too. Just hang in there. Soon you will be able to eat more of the things you want. Guest guest
How are you doing on the Xenical? Are you losing any weight? My friend who started me on this wls journey, let her brother, who is a doctor talk her out of the surgery and into taking Xenical for 3 months. She is not losing well at all and is very depressed about it. I hope you are more successful.
