Guest guest
Just talked to my DAN doctor and he suggests that I remove all honey from my sons diet. What I thought was die off is possibly a surge in the growth of the yeast. I was giving my son (5) approx 1 tablespoon of honey per day (includes what would be in baked goods etc) and he says this is way too much. He thinks the yeast and bacteria are having a party. I switched from GF/CF/sugar free last week to SCD. This is perhaps why my son is spacey. not with it, not responding well, a total regression. SO no honey for now. Just thought I would share this for all the newbie's with ASD children. Careful with the honey. Tara
