If you have a juicer great. But I personally, from my experience

wouldn't buy one. Someone else may feel different. I have a borrowed

juicer from my mother (a champion). I occasionally use it, but I

usually find that with two small children it takes too much effort and

time to clean. This is the second time I've borrowed it for an

extended time and found this to be true both times. I do love my

vitamix though! :-) And if someone knows of an easier to clean good

quality juicer, I'd love to hear about it. :-)

I use the juicer to juice veggies and then add the

liquid to my juices mixed in the blender. My kids

don't like the pulp from carrots, or parsley or

cucumber....It is just too much pulp for them. I use

pulp from juicer to make muffins or as meatball

fillers.

Sunday night at a friend's house, we experienced the

Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor.

Our friend was just raving about it. He said it is so easy to clean.

We loved the orange, apple, carrot, ginger drink that he made

for us that we've ordered one of these juicers. It's quite

expensive, but it is quite a powerful tool.

Angie;

Did you happen to see him clean the juicer? I love juicer juice but my cheapie

brand is difficult to clean - have to scrub the pulp out of the filter and soak

the millions of machine pieces to get the reminants off. What a pain!

How much is the Breville juicer?

Thanks,

Kim :-)

Yes, I watched him clean it. No scrubbing. Just rinsing. I just

got up and talked to him (co-worker). When I mentioned scrubbing he

said, " Oh, God, NO! " There is a brush to run over the metal filter

with, but this takes less than 30 seconds, if that. Easy.

$254 at Amazon with a " BLOOMING " code reduction of $25.

Hi -

I'm trying to get my son, 5 yr with autism, to drink juice from our juicer. It's

thick and frothy though- and he won't take much at all. just a few sips. I've

only tried pear/apple. I figure he needs to like the drink before I start adding

veggies and things.

Can you tell me more about adding the juiced juice to juice from blender???

I never thought to use the pulp in muffins. Great idea!!

thanks.
