Guest guest
Holly, The name Colby has grown on me when I first heard it I was not thrilled with it. He is my daughter's baby and her boyfriend picked it out. Guest guest
Holly: It helps so much to talk to someone you trust and who loves you about these things. My Mom died in December but I know she would have approved completely. She always wanted me to lose weight and was fairly vocal about it. LOL So I talked to my sister instead. She fully supported me, I stayed with her and she drove me to everything and was with me the whole time. This is very helpful! Plus, I am the kind of person who is unsure of what to do at times. I come across as very strong but inside I'm always wondering if I'm doing the right thing. Telling someone we trust is a good way to get the support we need in case of waffling...and I sure waffled plenty between my on-line information and the surgery date. Take it slow...think things through...talk to your Mom..these are good things. My 32-year- old daughter has submitted her on-line information and we are waiting to hear from the insurance company. Guest guest
That was me who inquired about the vitamins. I still haven't heard back. I ask not because the stomach can't handle the size of the vitamin, nor that I can't swallow them. I'm worried they won't pass through the opening between the stomach and the small intestine without discomfort. It isn't a big opening, at least it didn't look that big when I saw the video of Dr. R creating it. I have a friend who had an open RNY last month. Two days ago she was in the ER with intense pain because she had eaten shrimp and apparently not chewed it well enough. After many hours of thinking she was dying she finally threw it up. I need to put one (vitamin) in a glass of water and see how quickly it dissolves. It may not be an issue at all. I did cut them in half today and took the half with several other pills and have not experienced any discomfort. Donna >> Hi Donna, Water will not dissolve the pill near as quickly as your tummy because of the stomach acid that aids digestion.
