Guest guest
I will try to get the page where Dr. Haas suggest how long. It was in the book. But even he makes a point that every case is individual. That there is no set time for everybody. Some of his kids healed fast...some slower. Some took 2 years, others one year. They all improved in the first three months though if the parents where deligent and listened to him. This difference in time is not set in stone. It was probably this descrepency that Elaine refers to, when she says that she was never told how long. It was because Dr. Haas didn't get to tell her in the individual case of her duaghter Judy. I think what Elaine feared is that her duaghter would become sick again, she almost lost Judy. Plus, she realized that this was a healthy and tastey way to eat... so why stop? Even Lucy R. thinks this way at Lucy's kitchen. She is healed but still going at it. Many old timers to SCD are this way. So was Carol F (6 years out) I don't know if Elaine ever introduced illegal foods into Judy's diet, does anybody know? Apparently, Dr. Haas said stay on SCD for 1 year before adding back grains... and Elaine tweaked/modified that recommendation to stay on SCD until 1year after no more symptoms... > > > --------------------------------- > How low will we go?
