Inflammation and protein..should i be concerned?

Hi!

I was diagnosed with wheat, yeast, and dairy allergies some time

ago. However, a few months ago the doctor believed that I was still

experiencing symptoms because of gluten. I have since learned that

even though I was wheat free....gluten was in a lot of the foods i

ate :(

I went to the doctor last week and he is concerned b/c my

inflammation level(as indicated by the C reactive protein test is

11.

My question is......I have been eating a lot of protein to squelch

the sugar cravings. Will protein continue to raise my inflammation

level? I have heard that it can? I am in a pickle b/c it is hard for

me to digest veggies(which I lived off of for a long time).
