Guest guest
Dear Kim, Thank you for your compliment. When you say you are working in the recovery room it brings back a lot of memories for me in the O.R. One of the things I remember is someone telling me, in recovery, was about a woman that had to have her leg amputated due to diabetic complications. It took two scrub techs to carry the leg. I thought in horror then, I better watch my weight or I too will become diabetic and have all these terrible complications. Of course after that thought I think I have gained an additional 75 pounds. Isn't that horrible? Even though you know it's bad for you, you keep on doing whatever it is. (Just like me smoking for 18 years. How stupid is that?) I can't wait to meet you and the others. I have called your home a few times and you are always working...smile. Talk to you soon. Are you coming to eat with us Monday?
