Hey guys,

Still battleing this ear infection. Thanks for suggestions...trying

to do them all. On third antibiotic (SCD) safe...tried/doing garlic

mullein drops...seem to be working....doing the heating

pad.....tylonol supositories when the pain keep him from

sleeping....also using echeneaca and probiotics galore. Even bought

the " EAR DOC " ....don't know if it is working but doing it anyway!

He is showing signs of diarrhea now....irritability,

aggression...going back to old behavior, crying easy, having a set

back. Been fighting this ear problem for over 8 days now. Want to

avoid tubes...don't want to go this route. First infrection in over

a year and a half...started because we experimented with cow CHEESE!

Doctor still saying he may need tubes!

Feeling bad about my denial about cheese! Wish I had never fed it

to the poor kid...doc says no corelation... I say he is a fool

behind his back! Never had a problem with his darn ears until I

messed with cow casein! Been CF for on and off for 4 years with

this guy! Way before we knew he had Celiac Disease and then took

Gluten out or went SCDiet. I would know.

1)He is suppose to take the antibiotics for 6 more days...I worry

that it is causing the bad gut guys to come back...are they????

2)Do we need to go back to intro when this night mare is over?

3)Do I take him off antibiotics prematurely, thanks to gut distress?

Thanks for help and support, Antoinette mother to 4 year old

(celiac/asd/adhd)2 months SCD
