Guest guest
Dr. R likes you to weigh 350 or less to have the MGB. Of course, I'm sure it depends on your height also. I do know that there are a few patients who have been over that, up to around 400, I think. I believe the concern is that it is harder to do the laparoscopic surgery on you if you are bigger. I know that some patients have lost quite a bit of weight before the surgery in order to be able to have it. Sara Dawn Jester wrote: > > >... Guest guest
Dr. R told me that he would not turn me away but he would hope that I would try my very best to get as close to 350 or below if possible before I got a date. I respect him greatly for that because that shows me and my family that he truly wants the best possible outcome to start me on my way. in SC Pre-op 386 lbs. Waiting on ins. approval If you see someone without a smile, Give them one of yours. If you and I should meet and You forget me, you have lost nothing. If you meet JESUS and you forget him, you will have lost everything.
