Guest guest
Terry Reilly Health Services has recently created Spanish radio stories that address issues facing female farmworkers. Our clinics have been running the stories on local Spanish radio and have received a lot of feedback from women identifying with the characters. We've also utilized the stories as an educational tool and discussion starter in our women's group. If your interested in purchasing the a copy of " Los Cuentos de Las s " to air on your local stations or for agency use, the following provides more information about the stories. Thank you, Brintey Lanham Terry Reilly Health Services Radio Stories: Los Cuentos de Las s These five Spanish language stories are part of a radio outreach effort to reach migrants and seasonal farmworkers about women’s issues including: general depression, acculturation, aging, abuse, and post partum depression. The stories are approximately 2 minutes in duration. In the effort to portray the universality of these issues, each story uses the same name and the same voice. The final track is a radio tag line example of how individual agencies can use these radio stories for promoting their own mental health services on the radio. The stories can also be used in support groups or other educational and outreach efforts. The cost of the Spanish CD and the bilingual script is $17.50, plus $2.50 Shipping and Handling For more information or to purchase a CD, contact: Terry Reilly Health Services Britney Lanham- Mental Health Educator E-mail: blanham@...
