Insurance Denied-HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My PCP tried for approval because in the ins. company's list of approved

doctors{HMO}, there are NO bariatric surgeons to refer me to. Anyway, the

request was sent, & within a couple hours they sent the denial!!!!! Now my PCP

says it is up to me to change their minds!!! I don't know what to do or where to

begin!! Has anyone had to deal with Partners Health Plan of NC? I feel

overwhelmed. Can anyone send me a copy of their appeal letter,to give me ideas,

or is that too pushy of me?? I promice, if I get through this to the other side,

I'll return the favor ten-fold!!!! I know a lot of you have been where I am

right now. I never realized how stressful getting a denial can be on a person. I

am so glad to have this " family " to talk to. Thanks again.I will welcome all
