Hi, We were on it (dairy free and egg free) for I guess about 5 months and

it was going REALLY well. (enzymes and supplements too). So well that I

thought that maybe he could tolerate some rice and corn. We were doing raw

fruits and veggies at that point too. Well, a lot of his behavioral issues

came back. I decided to give the intro a try again and go slowly with

introducing new foods. The die off was still very difficult even though he

was 95% SCD. Though it only lasted 3 days this time and he has made so many

gains, just like last time. This time though, we will take his progress as a

sign to stick to SCD, lol.at least for a couple of years before we add any

other " illegal " foods into our lives again.

Kelli,

Why'd you go off SCD?... Did you hold your gains?... Did you add back

grains, or potatoes? ... What was the reaction ?

I second her opinion! Please don't go!

I really do respect all of your mothers that post such interesting

information. My second child (tube fed, seizurers, cp, CVI, EE, etc.)

will hopefully transition to SCD this summer and I too need all of

your experience! I really appreciate the info on natural products

for anti-fungals, CLO, etc, etc. And again some of it is for us,

some isn't, but I love the info and experience, it helps me do more

research and decide what's good for our family. I've learned so

much. So we'll miss you if you go! Best of luck if you have to.
