Checking foods not on list

I'm hoping a moderator can help me with this one...

How can I check the legality/illegality of foods that are not on the " Legal

list " at the BTVC.info website? My daughter needs to be on a four-day

rotated diet and to have enough foods (especially vegies) to spread among

the four days, I would like to be able to feed her these foods -- but they

aren't on the list:

Arugula (cabbage family, leafy greens)

Beet greens

Turnip greens

Kohlrabi

New Zealand spinach

Miner's lettuce

Dandelion greens

Curly endive

Escarole

Sunflower seed sprouts (just stems and leaves)

Fennel -- bulb

Fennel -- juice of leaves and stems

When Elaine was researching foods, how did she do it? Was there a

reference book she used? Is there an online database where I could look up

foods, and what would I be looking for to know something was " illegal " ?

Thanks!

Kayla
