Hi There...

We started the SCD almost a month ago and have seen progress! I have 3

daughters:

4.5 years, 2.5 years and 6 months. My middle daughter has celiac disease

and was struggling

with diarrhea even though we've been gluten free for a long time. She's

finally had formed

stools and they don't smell as bad. My 4 year old and I are also doing the

diet because

we seem to have problems with gluten and absorption. There are no ASD

symptoms in

our family as far as I know.

Anyway, here are my questions...

1. How soon is a good idea to introduce raw fruits and veggies?

2. We are going to be travelling for 10 days and I am shuddering at the

thought

of trying to do this diet while on the road. Any tips?

3. My 2 year old alternated between well formed stools and mushy ones. Is

this

normal in the beginning, or could I be doint something wrong?

4. I used to have diarrhea but since having children struggle with severe

constipation.

Will this diet help? It seems odd that it would help constipation since it

is meant to stop

diarrhea. So far it hasn't helped that much. I use Oxy-Powder which is a

great cleansing

product. I also have yeast issues, but they've been clearing up.

If you took the time to read this, thanks! By the way, we live in Las Vegas

(for the next year anyway)

and are a Christian, military family. My husband is a pathologist and is

finding all of this nutritional study fascinating since they didn't mention

a lot of this in medical school!

Blessings,

as well as 3 little ones in Heaven
