Guest guest
Okay-- if you have a weak stomach, please do not read on . . . I am 3 months post-op and all is going extremely well. All except my, shall I say, " bathroom breaks. " Dr. R mentioned that one's, um, solid-waste products might produce a foul odor, but frankly this is beyond foul. The worst part is that when I have to go, I HAVE TO GO, and invariably I find myself at someone else's home, someone whose bathroom isn't stocked with air freshener OR a power-flush toilet. This seems like a silly problem, but honestly it makes me VERY self- conscious. I don't look forward to going back to work, either (I'm a teacher) because the frequency in which I have urgent bowel movements and the horrible odor which accompanies them makes me worry that I'll become the butt of jokes (no pun :0) intended). I am not eating " taboo " foods, so I don't think my body is reacting to a poor diet. So, all you wonderful, wise post-ops out there . . . does this get any better? Will it be the same a year from now? Please let me know whether I have to carry Lysol around with me wherever I go!!! Thanks!!!
