Guest guest
Dear Candy, I had my surgery two weeks ago today, and have lost 20 lbs. already, without even trying. I am 40 yrs. old and my preop weight was 267 lbs. I am 5'4 " , and my BMIU was 45. The five tiny incisions have completely healed and I began a strenuous exercise program beginning yesterday. I have managed to tolerate all my old foods, however, emotionally, I'm no longer feeling the same satisfaction with food that I used to. I literally feel yhe weight melting off of me! It was amiracle that I only dreamed of having done on me. My surgery by Dr. Rutledge (the greatest and best doctor in the world) was the second fastest that he has performed taking only 24 minutes! I was in the hospital overnight and released the following day. I began very determined to have this surgery with Dr. R on April 6. It took three months exactly to get all of my paperwork completed. You won't be sorry. It will absolutely change your life, and you can shed that extra person smothering the real you. Good luck Candy. I will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have and help walk you through this. I know several people that had the surgery when I did that weighed about 350 and some lost 20-25 lbs in only a week. Guest guest
Donna, Hi, I'm Dinah from Andalusia, AL. I loved reading your story. That is the kind of loss I like to hear about. I bet you are feeling really great compared to pre-surgery. Where did you stay? How long did you have to stay in Durham? Drive or Fly? I want it all! lol Dinah in Alabama Waiting for Dr. R's approval. > Dear Candy, > I had my surgery two weeks ago today, and have lost 20 lbs. already, without > even trying. Guest guest
Hi again, another question. Are you eating solid foods already? You didn't stay on the liquids and still have lost 20 #'s in 2 weeks? Dinah in Alabama > Dear Candy, > I had my surgery two weeks ago today, and have lost 20 lbs. already, without > even trying.
