ch-ch-ch-changes - some thoughts

Good morning:

I woke up thinking about the old Bowie song, " Changes " - most

likely because of the current MBG list dialogue.

I can't offer any better solutions than the ones already submitted,

but two things come to mind:

1. Behold the power of the Internet. I (and I suspect many others)

chose Dr. Rutledge partly because of his superior information and

communication offerings. Of all the surgeons I've considered, only

Dr. R. had this incredible website and e-group. As medical consumers,

we really want our information.

2. You can't please everyone, so you'd better please yourself. I

guess Dr. R. is going to have to make these choices for himself,

because he is, after all, the one who's doing the surgery. It's clear

that he's tried to open the surgery to as many as possible, but in

the end, he's only human. We all have limits.
