Guest guest
hi all, My daughter Theresa had her ears pierced when she was two and stopped wearing earrings at about 7 years. She is now 22. Her holes never healed over even though she does not wear earrings. In the last year or so she has had a type of infection ( I think) under the skin around the piercing. It becomes red and swollen and hurts. I cannot figure out why and I don't know how to get rid of it. There is no pus the swelling is under the skin around the hole. Does anyone have any ideas why or how to treat it. I have tried oil of oregano, alcohol, and hydrogen peroxide.
