Guest guest
Hi everybody: I finally decided to join the group. I have what the doctors called steroid induced rosacea. I am taking Bactrim and using Metronidazole topical. At the beginning was very bad, I am a lot better now but still getting bumps in the area I applied the cortisone for more than a year!! I can not believe I did not know the use of topical steroids in my face was so harmful! I never heard of anything like that and when the doctor prescribed me the steroid (desonide) for a minor rash in my face, She never educated me on how to use it or for how long. And it does not say anything in the tube! We should make a request to the FDA to make the farmaceutical compnies to write a warning in the steriod's tubes or bottles, like the warning in the cigarrettes boxes!! I have a question to the steroids rosacea sufferers out there: Is it curable? Will I ever recover from this terrible mistake? Looking forward for answers!! ddkp5
