Hey All,

I want to share a new discovery with you. I've been having

problems making sure I remember to take all my medications,

take my bloodsugar tests, etc. So, I went looking for,

mainly, a remberance tool. And I found exactly what I was

looking for and I think anyone in our situations (chronic

illness, diabetes, etc. affecting memory) might find it of

assistance too.

It's a watch that can also be worn pager style. It came be

used solely as a reminder system, a training tool or

bothIt's called WatchMinder. It has sixteen different

alarms. The watch vibrates it's alarm. With each alarm, you

can choose one of many different text reminders or training

messages to go with it (i.e. Reminders: GO DR, MEDS 1, TEST,

DO CHORES, etc or Training: GO BATHROOM, PAY ATTN, POSTURE,

RELATE, etc..). It was created by a psychologist for

ADD/ADHD Children and Adult, Diabetics, etc. but can be used

for other issues too. According to it, it can be used

by:people who have or need: ADD/ADHD, Deaf and Hard of

hearing, Elderly, Chronic illness, Medication Compliance,

Behavior Modification and Self-Monitoring, Independence

Training and Vocational Rehabilitation, Brain injury and

Stroke, and Research, Data Collection and Clinical Trial

Studies. So far, I have found it to be of immense help. You

can check it out at http://www.watchminder.com .

However, if you do decide to purchase it, do a search on the

internet first because the price list at Watchminder.com

is$99.95 and I found several different places that sell it

for $69.95, which is what I paid for it. So far, it has

helped me a great deal.
