Guest guest
Dear , so much in common with you guys on this list! Wow....yes...don't know what the first part of message was......but my back pain and muscle cramps (in back and legs) is related to calcium and mineral deficiencies and possibly dairy proteins (thanks to malabsorption and a leaky gut I might add)..... In particular if I take enough Calcium and Magnesium it goes away. I had a bone scan and they diagnosed me with osteomalacia (adult form of rickets...very painful)...I am on a strict regimen of calcium supplementation and eating foods high in bone building things such as dark green and dark leafy vegetables...I don't have the pain anymore....as long as I get enough of these things in my diet ...don't eat much SCD dairy......and allow my gut to heal! A few days not eating the right stuff or taking my supplements.....pain again. Totally pain free otherwise.....motivates one to eat their SPINACH salads and broccoli (one of the best for bones, high in Calcium, Magnesium and Phosphorous)!...no joke...and still nursing...with blessing from doctors! Feeling better than ever when it come to dealing with this Old problem of the past. Beware...my husband's bone scan also cam back with osteopenia...he has malabsorption/Celiac Disease too! Others claim that the proteins in dairy/gluten (don't have to worry about this if you are SCD) can cause people pain when they escape the gut and go into joints/back.....causing pain.....but we don't do much SCD dairy....don't know if this helps. Antoinette (day 41 entire family SCD and healing from a messed up gut that turned us all into achy nuts!...just joking ADD,ADHD,ASD and more) Back soreness and flares I am just starting up into a major flare, one thing I have noticed with myself is that the day(s) before a major one gets started my lower back on my right side will start to get very tight and spasm, so much so that it soon spreads to my entire right side, almost paralyzing it, then right before the flare starts and during, it becomes this major mass on my right lower back, so protruding you can see it and it twists my body so when I stand my torso is slightly pushed to a left diagonal. Does anyone else experience this or notice it on their kids? ? what do you do to help it? Thanks for any help, _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
