Guest guest
Dear Laurie, That's good to hear. I've learned to really appreciate the value of a second opinion, and to see the difference in interpretation of radiology scans and films done by different specialists. Hopefully this will give you another unbiased, yet detailed and accurate picture of what is really going on. Please let us know the results as things go along. Don't hesitate to ask for copies of any reports of the tests this doctor arranges for you. If you haven't been keeping a copy of all your records, this is a great time to start. Most doctor's offices are very cooperative in giving you this information as long as you explain to them in the very beginning, that you wish copies of all office visits and tests. They'll probably have you sign a waiver, but that's no big deal. I've kept copies of all of my medical work and it's been very helpful, especially when dealing with another physician who hasn't treated me before. I have so many different doctors now, that medical folder keeps growing larger and larger! I'll be curious to see what they find out this time. Keep us posted. With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H.
