Guest guest
I have found a cure for the um, er, hmmm, gaseous emissions one can get after weight loss surgery -- *shredded* (into tiny slices) broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage (yes, cabbage . . .), carrots, and lettuce salad. It looks a lot like the ingredients for cole slaw, only smaller . . . industrial strength bulk-r-us. I found some already-shredded broccoli/carrots/cauliflower/cabbage called " vegetable cole slaw mix " at the super Walmart grocery, and just had to add lettuce and salad dressing to have a great tasting salad. Every day I had one of these salads -- no toots (or at least a whole lot less)! Oddly enough, things that formerly gave me gas, like onions, cabbage, and cucumbers, don't seem to do that now, but *fat* can give me enough gas I need an anchor to keep from launching myself. But when I ate this salad each day, no problems, even with a couple of fatty things, like cookies. Your mileage may vary. Hope this works for you if you need the cure as badly as I did! Kind regards, P.S. Before you ask, no Citrucell did not work for this. P.S.S. No, I do not feel guilty (much, well, okay some) for eating cookies. It will take awhile to cure that mindset. I use Marzetti's Fat Free Peppercorn Ranch dressing on it. Fat and I don't get along, either. > ps > I thought you were coming in for the support grp? Its at 2 you can > still make it! C'mon!!! I probably can't get there before Monday night. I'm trying to make it for clinic on Tuesday. > > In MiniGastricBypass (AT) egroups (DOT) com, <lindat@m...> wrote: > > I have found a cure for the um, er, hmmm, gaseous emissions one can > get > > after weight loss surgery -- *shredded* (into tiny slices) broccoli, > > cauliflower, cabbage (yes, cabbage . . .), carrots, and lettuce > salad. > > It looks a lot like the ingredients for cole slaw, only smaller . . > . > > industrial strength bulk-r-us. > > > > I found some already-shredded broccoli/carrots/cauliflower/cabbage > > called " vegetable cole slaw mix " at the super Walmart grocery, and > just > > had to add lettuce and salad dressing to have a great tasting > salad. > > Every day I had one of these salads -- no toots (or at least a > whole lot > > less)! > > > > Oddly enough, things that formerly gave me gas, like onions, > cabbage, > > and cucumbers, don't seem to do that now, but *fat* can give me > enough > > gas I need an anchor to keep from launching myself.
