I just dont know why they are so hell bent on getting me to take

anti depressants. I am not depressed. Quite the quantrary, I am

one of those irritatingly perky annoyingly cheery types. Yes When I

am in pain I am no fun at all; but I would not equate that with

depression; geeze its PAIN. The docs have said tricyclics work to

relax the smooth muscle which decreases the spasm of the SOD. Well

that never proved true for me; I still had pain and with the Ellavil

and Levbid it made me just want to disappear, no spunk, feelings, I

am dull flat and lifeless. Is there a clinical reason why we should

all be on antidep's that I am unaware of. Since the surgery I have

had a lot of pain and I am taking pain meds for that; but he still

wants me to take the levbid 4x a day.

Sorry about the grand standing I am just hitting brick walls with

this one and he is adiment that I take them.
