Guest guest
We may be just lucky...or we are possibly doing something right. Our daughter was so sick she couldn't handle most anti-fungals. With just the introductory foods (easy to digest). Cutting out all juice and cuting back honey we have finnaly gotten a handle on the yeasty beasties....when we accidently feed her more advanced foods that sit in her gut and not digest...because sheis not healed enought....we pay...go back to intro and get back on track...This is what works for us. Easier on the LIVER too. Those meds can have horrible side affects on the liver, and also distroy the good flora in the gut...not just the bad guys. We at first tried all sorts of interventions just for them to " blow Up " in our face. She got so much sicker with enzymes (esp those with protease...gut too injured to handle them), and one antifungals....threw her into a diarrhea and vomiting crises (they where special compounded starch and sugar free too...made no difference.) We kinda have no choice but to relya on SCD alone...and I think we may be luckier....because some may not be realizing that these " side line approaches " could be causeing more harm than good. I know that we are all individual...but it can't help but make me think. Hope this may help, Antoinette (2.5+ months mother to 2 year old KIKi, celiac/injured intestines, entire body was compromised, autistic...now healing with just SCD) > <<BUT yeast is horrible!
