Guest guest
I am reading my mediacl reports and came across my last ERCP report. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what two things would mean. #1. Small filling defects in the common bile heptic duct, possibly stones although air bubbles are also are consideration. #2. Pancreatic duct not seen. Also why would they not be able to drain the contrast from my galbladder? I thought the whole purpose of this test was to see the ducts. What would prevent them from seeing them? I do not want an other ERCP since I ended up in the hospital from this one but I was wondering what all this means. It is interesting also to see that at the time of my hospitalization with pain and vomiting my lipase was 1791, but the next day when I was feeling better it had risen to 2667. My amalase was also 369. This is the most bizaar disease. I was just hoping someone would know what this means so I can have a better understanding of it when the new specialist next week. Thanks in advance, Simi Valley, CA
