Guest guest
Anyone else have the problem that they know so much about something and when you need to recall the knollage you sound like an idiot? It could be pregnauncy brain too, lol. Here's my question. What is the standard age of doing the sweat chloride tests? and what is the " normal " for it? The reason I ask is I have heard alot of parents that have the test done at 2 weeks of age. I was told by 3 cf doctors and the kids regular pediatrician that the sweat test isn't that accurate at that age because of lack of sweat collected. If so then why waste the expense of the test and not just jump to the genetics test? Granted that can still have false results but isn't it more accurate at this age than the sweat test? Also whent the girls were tested 3 years ago(HOLY COW it's been that long?) the normal limit was 60. I've heard it's changed. Has it? Ack, you'd think after 3 years dealing and reading about this disease I'd retain a little bit of it, lol. Another brain dump hit, there are over 1,000 mutations, correct? I'm surprised I remember my name 50% of the time, lol. Thanks for helping the moron. Hopefully after Orion is born I'll gain some brain cells again, lol. Thanks again. Jen A. mom to 4, Yolo 3, Phynix 10 months and running, all w/cf, Orion Zane due April 14th. _________________________________________________________________ Protect your PC - get McAfee.com VirusScan Online http://clinic.mcafee.com/clinic/ibuy/campaign.asp?cid=3963
