Guest guest
Dear Lac70625, I am sorry to hear that you are feeling up against a wall. There isn't anything worse than feeling like you are shouting your symptoms yet no one is listening or hearing you. Do I understand that you had Pancreatitis in 2001? Can you share a little more about that? Did the doctor say what may have caused it? Did you have any diagnostic tests that confirmed the Pancreatitis at that time. Many times, a patient will be admitted based on enzyme levels with no further work-up. If you had an MRCP or ERCP those results will assist in putting together a case. It seems that many people have a lot of trouble obtaining an accurate diagnosis. Have faith and don't give up. And, if there is a chance you don't have Pancreatitis, don't pursue it too hard. On the other hand, Pancreatitis is a very specific disease. Once you have it, the symptoms are very classical. Can you elaborate more about the GI visits that state you either do not have Pancreatitis or that you have liver disease? You mentioned in your post that there was not pain associated with liver disease. I have often seen marked pain in patients with liver disease.
