Guest guest
> Marcy, How lucky are you to have a husband that does the grocery shopping!!!! I have a cute story about when I was pregnant with my little one and was on strict bedrest (in hospital and out) for pre-term labor (I dialated to 4 cm's when I was 14 weeks preg.) and pre-eclaspia. I was craving carrot cake and my mom said she would make it. We sent hubby to the market for a small bag of flour, three green apples, and a few carrots. Well he came home with a 10lb bag of flour, a large 4lb bag of green apples and sack of carrots big enough to feed an entire stable horses for a week. Needless to say we don't send him to the market anymore! Simi Valley, CA PS I have a great low-fat carrot bread recipe if anyone is interested I can post it. > From: tucson397@... > Date: 2003/11/03 Mon PM 01:57:34 PST > To: pancreatitis > Subject: Re: Marcy - Holiday Meals > >

Kellie and are being relocated in Feb. to Altus for a 3 year rotation. It's only 9 hours from here. He was just commissioned Major. He'll be a flight instructor there. It's their third time there (previously for TDY trainings for 6 weeks each). They're now building a house outside the base. They're currently at McChord AFB in Tacoma. He's leaving 12/17 for a three week to Doha with runs from there to Baghdad with troops and supplies and possibly to Diego . Small world!! When was an F-16 pilot, he was stationed for three years at Sumter. I loved visiting Sumter. Our first granddaughter was born there, and after, on our way home, spent 3 days in ton. We just loved SC. BTW, triglycerides were 129 and chloesterol at 212. Need to do some work on the chloesterol to get it below 200. I need 3000 mg. fish oil, and 3000 mg. flaxseed oil, and he's increased my niacin to 1000 mg. daily. Plus a Centrum daily and milkthistle as my liver enzymes were slightly elevated. My doctor is a family practioner, but his mom has had pancreatitis for over 30 years (she's in her 80's) so he's really up on the latest of the treatments. I'm lucky as I've got a PPO instead of an HMO through BC/BS and I can choose all my docs. I hope you're feeling better and the pain will subside. My prayers are with you. Marcy I've gone to look for myself. If I return before I find me, keep me here!
