Guest guest
Dear , You sure had to jump through a lot of hoops to get that official diagnosis, didn't ya? I'm so sorry that all of your troubles ended you up in the hospital, again, but at least now you've found a GI that's listening to you and willing to treat both the liver and the pancreas problems as separate entities! Going to the hospital in Huntsville has helped you in more ways than you realize. You got verification of those high lipase levels, and you found yourself an understanding doctor in the process. Sometimes going the extra distance pays dividends, and I'm glad that it's worked out this way for you. Now, MOTB, take it easy and relax and get yourself feeling all better so you can enjoy that wedding!!!!!! With hope and prayers, Heidi Heidi H. I was admitted under the care of my internal med doc, Dr. Wyatt, in Huntsville (about 30 miles from home) with acute pancreatitis on Friday, May 30th. Dr. Wyatt said I was definitely having an attack of acute pancreatitis Dr. Wyatt called in a GI, Dr. Goetsch, and I really think I am finally in good hands. He said I have 'relapsing chronic pancreatitis'.
