Guest guest
Hi trish, the beach sounds awesome I use Enfamily with iron for Emerson and did with my 3 other kids too and NEVER had any belly problems or anything like that. They have enfamil lipil too which is also good but the cans are smaller and more expensive so you are paying more for less formula. The Nestle good start is not too expensive but i heard it is gassy. I sue the playtex nurser bottles and Emerson and my boys before him rarely threw up or spit up with them and I myself love them. I use the powder formula too so you do not have to look for places to warm your babies bottle while out, just take a bottle of water with you and add the powder as needed. Use a bigger bottle, like use a 8 ounce bottle when making 4-6 ounces of formula since the powder when added makes the water level rise int he bottle and overflows, using the bigger bottle stops this problem. God Bless, Robin Wife to Pup for 15 years Mommy to- and (twin boys, 8 years) and Daughter Madison- age 5 1/2 and new Mommy to- Emerson Roger born July 28, 2004 at 4:11 am 8lbs 7 oz, 20 1/2 inches long. Guest guest
Isomil !!! It is wonderfull. It is the soy version of Simolac. I milk never fully came in with my son and I started him on the simolac, because thats what the WIC here covers. He was very gassy and he spit up quit a bit. I changed him to the Isomil and he thrived. I think it is called Isomil Advanced nowadays. My son tolerates milk just fine now, he is 3 1/2. If this baby doesn't nurse then I will go straight back to the soy. I love happy babies!! Good luck with your research. If you do a goggle search with the word baby formula you should be able to find a lot of info. Guest guest
GREAT!! Good to know.. There are SO many different kinds out there.. I like to get the opinions of others. I had looked at the different bottle types too - and MAN who knew that so many different shapes and sizes. A friend suggested just trying one or 2 of a couple differnt kinds of bottles and nipples before buying a huge quanity of any of them.. I think I might do that. Thank you so much for the advice!!! Guest guest
No most babies will do fine at 1 year when you switch them to whole milk. A good bottle to try are the playtex Vent Air. They are nice because they have vents in the bottom(nothing leaks) but you hardly see any bubbles when the baby feeds, as apposed to a normal bottle where everytime they suck you see the air that is in the bottle. I think that helped keep the air out of Forrests tummy. Good luck Meridth Wife to Larry (02/22/02) Mother to Forrest (01/21/01) Expecting #2 02/14/05 Gastric ByPass 02/23/04 370/268pg/175 goalweight

Guest guest
Hello all, I just noticed that I've stopped writing in Cameron's daily food journal for about 3 weeks now!!!! That is the first time in about 12 months! It is because Cameron doesn't have " inexplicable " diarrhea that lasts for days (and nights - whew!) Formed poops, occasionally odd coloured (usu. can track down to too much fruit)but IN THE TOILET! Daytime 100% potty trained! Had to share - never acheived any of the above with gfcfsf. No dairy (even the yoghurt). Taking enzymes (Enzym-Complete DPPIV, No-Fenol), MB12, SNT, EPO, EFA's, taurine, melatonin, probiotics, zinc, calcium, Biomin. Enjoying the weather, Lynn - Mommy to Cameron 4 years old on Mother's Day (ASD), Mia Jean (21 months), dh - all SCD diff. stages
