Guest guest
Jeannine, I thought about you when I was reading your post about being in the ER, and the way you experienced pain. It was interesting that the doctor explained the anatomical placement of the pancreas. It helps to understand the pain. Well, you might get a kick out of our new gift shop. Go to http://www.cafeshops.com/pancassociation There are flying frisbi's, coffee mugs, tote bags, hats, shirts, and more all with a cross section of a pancreas (and labeled, ta' boot), the exocrine / endocrine system, and our logo. There are also several items that have our young member, Jackie's, " My Pancreas and Me " . They are all cute, fun, practical, although I am not sure if I really want a lunch box with a cross section of my pancreas on it. I just thought it would make interesting table talk. The products are good quality. This company, CafePress, provides this services as a fund raiser tool for organizations. Check out the PAI bumper stickers. they are cool! Oh, my point to you Jeanine, was that you may notice form the pancreas on these items that there is that slope..or is it sloop? The products look great and it will be a wonderful way to promote the Pancreatitis Association International. I am very impressed with the quality of the products and how nice the logo and pictures look on them. I especially like Jackie's picture - it is sad a child so young has to deal with this disease, but it will certainly advance awareness that this disease is more wide-spread than the general public knows. You did a very nice job, Gail West, Indiana Midwest Regional Representative www.pancassociation.org
