Guest guest
Aunt B, We got married on the 1/12 and went overseas for our honeymoon. We didn't return till 20th Dec. and had no decorations. We decorated our 1st tree with all the wedding stuff, you know those keepsakes people give you when your walking back down the isle. It did look pretty, or maybe that was the glow of romanceLoL. We bought a decoration with baby's 1st x-mas on it with the year for Liam. We couldn't find one for Eilish so we bought baby booties that were decorations and put 1997 on them. (Australia) Boxes for the Kids Lives & Bev, I think the idea of keeping all their stuff in a box is great. More families should do something like that. We all have stacks of stuff that Mom kept over the years and gave to us after we were grown and just love all of it! Another thing a friend of mine did for her kids was to buy each of them a Christmas ornament each year and when they grew up and moved out on their own, she gave them all of their ornaments collected over the years. They had a head start on decorations for their own Christmas tree. Unlike me--my first " My Very Own " Christmas tree was made up of a yard of red and white gingham material, which I cut into 1 " strips and made bows ties around my fingers. The material was just enough to make one bow for each branch of the tree! It was kinda cute and kinda Charlie Brown-ish too! It did look much better in later years when I could afford more decorations. LOL!! Love all of you! Aunt B
Guest guest
Aunt B That sounds like fun. We have lots of play cafes here. We have one a few minutes from us. The kids love it, but I feel they are quite germy. The last time we were there (only go if its a birthday party) a little kid piddled in the balls, yuck. (Australia) nerves, weight, enzymes & crayons , I was so glad to read your post. It is great that your jiggly nerves are jellin' now. It is always nice to hear that any of the kids are gaining some of their weight like they need to. Those enzymes are just a little tricky to keep balanced. And to swallow a handful of enzymes at once is really super! We stopped at a Garfield's restaurant today and it was soooo much fun! A lot of restaurants have coloring books and colors for the kids but this place has butcher paper on the tables and a cup full of crayons. The waitress wrote her name upside down and backwards so we would be able to read it with us facing her. Then she challenged us to do the same. I won that one since DH calls me BJ! LOL His was easy too, since his name is Art. We were all adults but each of us had a blast drawing funny faces and pictures. I don't know much about the restaurant, whether it is a chain, etc., but I hope it is so others can have as much fun as we did! Who is it that always says she will never grow up?? Is it Dori? Well, I stopped growing up at 20 and stayed a teenager for years--now maybe I will regress to an even younger age! Love to All!
