Guest guest
Here's what worked for us… My daughter had an ear infection in one ear and wax build-up in the other. For the ear with the infection…her doc recommended she rest her ear on a damp warm wash cloth 2x a day for approx 10 minutes (she wouldn't comply so we put a heating pad under her pillow case for 10 minutes after she'd fall asleep.) For the ear with the wax build-up…put 2-3 drops of hydrogen peroxide in ear at bathtime. Be sure to wash hair to moisten the wax. Do it for 3 consecutive days and the wax will drain. For both ears with also got ear drops with mullen (from health store)…few drops on cotton balls…pleace in ear before bedtime. She was fine in a couple days. Hope that helps, > > > > > > last message about viruses: Well actually unless you have strep you > should > > not be on antibiotics.....You are better to let it run it's course..... > > > > > > > > > > > > To whom can help our little Silly Yak with an ear infection, > > > > > > Our situation is a little different...Been fighting an ear infection for over a > > week. Guest guest
Very good ideas...The one thing I don't like about the article I posted..was they were promoting a vaccine for ear infections.. arg ;-(...I would not do that..Your routine is a great option to treat ear infections..They generally clear up in 4-7 days.. > > > > > > > > last message about viruses: Well actually unless you have strep you > > should > > > not be on antibiotics.....You are better to let it run it's course..... > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > To whom can help our little Silly Yak with an ear infection, > > > > > > > > Our situation is a little different...Been fighting an ear infection for over a > > > week.
