Guest guest
When I first started my daughter on the scdiet about 3 weeks ago, I made all kinds of things she likes. That was before I'd read about the intro diet, at which time I pulled way back on what she was eating. She's very frustrated now and is still having diarrhea. (As a reminder, she is 7, has Crohn's/UC and is eating meat, eggs, a little banana, some applesauce, carrots and butternut squash and sometimes chicken soup. We dropped the yogurt and DCCC in case that's what's causing the trouble.) I wanted to get opinions on whether it would be too soon to start the almond flour again. I need to bring a snack she can eat to her Brownie ceremony on Friday. Would I be crazy to do that? I do not think it aggravated her. Also, how long did it take for you to see results in your children? Thanks, Karyn
Guest guest
When you do start with nut flour, start with pecan, brazil or hazelnut; they are easier to digest. www.digestivewellness.com has them.
