Nicolaysen, I read about the Hispanic Health Council on the web. I am conducting a thesis on how spirituality serves as a buffer during the acculturation procress for Hispanic immigrants, often reversing the course of developing pathology in the form of alcohol abuse, depression and anixety. Do you know of any current studies which show that spirituality has a connection to low psychopathology and overall good health for the Hispanic immigrant? Or do you know any authors whom I might contact who may point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I seem to be researching a rather new area where there is a limited number of empirical research. Thank you, Krista Puente psy.d. student at Florida Tech
