Guest guest
Jody H, I'll be sending you an email, but think fat and protein pared with carbs, don't overdo the carbs for blood sugar support! I will tell you about my nifty cooler from bi mart, you need one, so you can pack all your great foods on board. I forget if you tolerate hard boiled eggs, but that is a good one. Some little portable tubs of apple sauce like digestive wellness sells is good for some immediate blood sugar lift. What I like to do, is pack whole avocados that are very ripe, you will be able to cut them with a plastic picnic knife on the plane. Stay hydrated, pack a bottle of good water to have always, getting dehydrated can excerbate blood sugar problems. Some other things that might go well is a home-made chicken or turkey salad, some cooked burger patties of turkey, buffalo, whatever agrees with you. Take a little lemon ginger tea with you! Will get a list to you! Summer Summer's Family, SCD 08/04 http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/openblooms/ --------------------------------- Feel free to call! Free PC-to-PC calls.
