Hi everyone I am so glad I found this forum. It make me feel better

to say what I am feeling whether someone answers or not. I went 6

weeks on jello & fat free pudding. Now I am on liquids &

supplimental liquids only. I cannot tolerate those replacement

drinks like Ensure & Boost. So I am getting pretty depressed.

Tuesday all I did was cry. Well I blew it I got in my car and went

to Rally's and got a hamburger. I was lucky I had no pain or

discomfort. I thought I was going to pay for cheating and it really

helped me emotionally to have food. Since then I have been fine.

Today I fixed a Watermellon drink. I took a piece of melon, ice,

water and a little sugar and put it in the blender and made a

liquid. It was delicious but tonight I am paying for it. This drink

has brought on an attack. Why?? The burger I ate was against the

rules and I was fine but the liquid melon caused an attack. This

disease is so depressing. I really admire all of you that have been

putting up with this so long. Am I the only one who feels the need

to cheat?? My name really is Maureen and I am from a small town

south of NewOrleans,LA.

Hi Maureen,

I can't speak for everyone else...but I know I cheat! No one is perfect so

don't be to hard on yourself for indulging in a hamburger. Why the watermelon

drink sent you into an attack and the hamburger didn't is a mystery. It

happens to me all the time. I will eat something that is totally against the

" rules " and be fine. Then I have something that is really good for me and I am

as

sick as a dog. Go figure. I am glad that you found this group and welcome!!

Sending lots of happy thoughts your way....

Maureen,

you're not the only one who feels a need to cheat. I do occasionally

too, even though I know i shouldn't. When I do, sometimes I don't pay

for it immediately, but I do a day or so later. That may be what

happened with your burger. Don't ask me why, it just happens that way

sometimes.
