Guest guest
Hi Donna, Will was born with a rare syndrome called Cornelia deLange Syndrome. Among other things it causes slow stature and very slow physical and mental growth. Will was 4.2 full term at birth and turning 12 in September, he weighs only 37 pounds. It doesn't seem to matter how much he eats, he doesn't gain. Prior to this pancreatic attack he ate at regular intervals every one and a half to two hours. He's even hungrier than usual in this recovery phase. His body doesn't tolerate dairy very well so we stay away from the majority of it. Once we get back to the doctor we will have to sort out nutritional issues. I'm hoping this is just a one time attack, with a smoldering recovery period! You can see Will's website at www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/2451 Thanks! Beth
