,

Yeah, Houston is kinda generic. I was in Newton then Baytown then all over

the outer areas around Houston.

It's funny, while there I always took vacations and came " home " to Alabama to

visit Mom and the kids. Then, when I moved back here, I have been sooooooo

homesick for Houston!

Guess Mom's home cooking must be wearing off-----NOT!!!!

Moved back here in 1993.

When I left north Alabama, I was so lost! Country girl in the big city! LOL

Except I never had the accent. I picked up a little of the accent and

learned about big city life while living in Houston.

And now I'm back in a different part of Alabama---and the people here and in

Texas BOTH sound like hicks!!!

I miss the convenience of living in a big city but just love the hills and

countryside around here. But, like you, I yearn for " home " in Texas!!!

We had a layover on a trip a few years ago so my best friend in Houston

brought her new hubby to the airport to meet me and to meet my new

hubby--LOL. I still want to go back for a visit sometimes. Guess a part of

me will always call Texas home.

Life is so different here. I was single most of the time I lived there and

am married now. It probably wouldn't be the same anyway.

You hang in there.

I will keep you and your family in my heart.

Love,

Aunt B
