Welcome to our friendly group. I just recently joined (july) and am

glad that I did, as this group is very knowledgable, friendly and is

quick to offer helpful advice.

I read your story and it seems very typical for many of us - the

long history of pain without any explanation from our doctors or

attempts to even find out what is causing it. I hope that your

doctor continues to look for the cause of your chronic pancreatitis

to see if there is something that can be done to fix the pain.

Ask any questions that you care to. I am sure that you will get

many helpful answers and needed support.

what is your name? I wanted to let you know that you should also check

out the following website. It has a lot of information on chronic

pancreatitis and it might answer some of your questions.

Once you are at the site, roll your cursor over the words " select a

section " on the right and a pull down menu will appear. Read all the

sections, they are very informative about chronic pancreatitis.
