hello for all,

first or all, i am a frech woman, who try to speak and write in

english, i understand most of the time what i read in english. ok

now, my brief history why i join this yahoo group of pancréatitis.

i know i have a chronic pancréatitis since one week only, but i have

this desease for ten year. let me explain little bit: first i know, i

have a chronic hépatitis C for 13 years now, and i know because in

the past before the test of hcv, i have very much symptom, like pain

in the right side of my body, and i thouth it was due to the liver,

and i continue to think that because the doctor sait me i have hcv.

but my pain are very high and i talk that to my hépatologue and said

me no it's impossible the liver give that kind of pain, but he dont

try to search the cause of my pain, and i think at that time: the

doctor dont want to help me with the pain because i am an ex-toxico,

and i go to my home with my pain i try to live with, but it's very

hard. the first 2 years when i learn i have hcv; i have that pain

every day, the pain is like sword transpierce my body to my back and

irradiate to my right side, and finally,after 2 first year of

difficult pain and no treatment, it disapears for 8 years, in this 8

years i have pain sometime in the same place of my body but the pain

was never like before, and i am more active.

ok now since more than one years, the incrédible pain come back (the

same like i discribe before),i loss weigh (45lb),i am always tired,

no more energie and i cant eat because pain and finally, i go to the

hépato another time, the first time in ten years because the doctor

dont understand me, but at that time i try another time to explain

and try to have treatment because the pain are to high, but another

time doctor dont understand me and he dont search why i have that

pain so high, and i decide to try another hospital, english hospital

lolll, and i find a good doctor hépato-gastro-entérologue, she listen

me and make a test to find what is the origin of the pain.

she make gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ultrasound imaging, ct scan ,

blood test and she give me morphine for few days to stop the pain

before she know what going wrong with me. and after she view the

résult of the test, she said me: you have duodénitis and chronic

pancréatitis and she give me pancréatic enzymes to take before each

meal, it suppose to kill much of the pain, and she said me take

another appointment with me in one week to talk about all that, oh i

take losec too for the duodénitis. now after one week of pancréatic

enzyme, my pain stay, and dont go, maybe the enzymes take long time

to make effect, i dont take another statex (morphine) i wait for the

effect of the enzymes. but i look through my habitude of food, and i

learn that a simple apple put me in severe pain, and i dont know

where in the internet are the information about nutrition for chronic

pancréatitis, and more information about how to live with that

desease, and finnally i found a site for pancréatic cancer, and i ask

for links to patient or info for chronic pancréatitis and the poeple

give me this address here. and i am here now.

that's it for now, i will go to read your post to learn more, and for

dont ask a question that already have an answer. i am very happy to

find this pancréatitis association.
