Guest guest
Donna, I like your idea about getting the faces of people with Pancreatitis out with the disease. That is part of why the slogan is Many People, manu Faces, One Voice. What we have so far is a collection of members photos in the Yahoo photo gallery. We can also have them put next to their stories (http://www.pancassociation.org/stories). It does make a difference to see someone's face. That is why they always put a picture of kids on buckets when they are doing fund raisers. If you want your picture added, let me know, Wouldn't it be nice if we could get the news stations to put the picture of someone with Pancreatitis on the news every night in a series on Chronic Illness in America. Sometimes I think people would respond to Chronic Illness more than they would to Pancreatitis. Maybe we could persuade the newspaper to run an article on the faces of Pancreatitis. How many of you would be willing to have your picture published along with your story in the book on Pancreatitis. The book is essentially done. All I am doing is waiting on the nonprofit status so I can get a grant to publish it. Karyn E. , RN Exec. Guest guest
Karyn, go ahead and use my picture. It's on the Yahoo site in the photo album. It's not great, but I haven't got a better one at this time. Kimber -- Kimber Vallejo, CA hominid2@...
