Beth

I'm glad you have previous experience with him it should make things easier

on Will. I know everytime someone new sees Cassie it's a whole new round of

anxiety for her. This should make things easier for him since they are both

used to each other. Since he has worked with Will before he is aware of his

special needs. It has also been my experience with Dr Fox that he is one of the

few people who has treated Cassie that has not let her age fog his judgement as

far as pain goes. He is also one of the few Dr we have encountered that

doesn't " hid " the facts from us. There have been many time with others where we

have had to demand test results. I track her amylase and lipase levels every

time they are drawn. I like to see where we are vs where we've been. Many

times I just get normal or abnormal no values. You'd think we were asking for

the nuclear launch codes instead of lab results. Another thing about Dr

Fox, he sent me back copies of all Cassie's medical records sent to him plus

copies of all correspondence to Dr's up here in Maine. Said I might need them

some time. Good luck. Does Will have an appointment soon? I was really

suprized with Cassie, Her GI up here suggested a referal to him on Sept 19 last

year, We saw him Nov 4th. We have an adult GI group here in Bangor 9 DR's I

beleive, I was refered to them, still have no appointment yet, was told they are

booking Appont. for Aug/Sep. Hopefully you wont have to wait to long.

Another question for you, one that most people forget about when we have sick

kids, are you doing ok? Cassie like Will has special needs. Her's are

nowhere near as server as Will's but none the less ADHD and a non verbal

learning

disorder ontop of pancreatitis is bad enough I can't image what you are going

thru. If you just need to vent please feel free to e-mail me directly. How

is Will today? Again good luck and god bless
