Hi Beth, my feelings and sensations with a j tube were a miserable feeling, restlessness, sick feeling. I would think that if Will has problems with the j tube he will be irritable and cry a lot. I wish I could give you better answers than that but it has been at least five years since I had the j tube. Good luck to Will. Guest guest
thanks all for your responses to my post about Will's diagnosis. So far we've only been told the head of the pancreas is abnormal, but I was asking for the terminology today so I can continue researching. For those of you with children...are they mobile and if so how did you handle feedings/tethering to the pump and mobility? Also, for those who have had one, what kind of feelings/sensations/pain might Will experience? He is non verbal so we never have a clue what it is exactly he is feeling..any input is appreciated. Suzanne, if while at Children's you see a small, dark haired boy, long lashes, arm/hand deformities being pushed in a blue stroller/wheelchair, stop us and say hello!!! http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Acres/2451(Will's website with pics) Thanks again all. I can't tell you how relieved we are to finally know what is going on with Will and can begin working on recovery!
