Adding foods & not eliminating them

Carol could you please explain to me what you would suggest someone

like myself should do fo my son who seems to have so many

sensitivities to different foods eg. sals, amines. We can't use any

of the nut products due to amine problems, we are limited by sals

with the fruits & many veges too. I was unsure whether of not to add

carrot puree to the chicken broth because of the sals. You are so

right though it gets so restrictive that you worry about nutrients &

weight gain. If I see a worsening of behaviours I think it's a food

problem & I look at eliminating another food. I thought about doing

a food sensitivity panel but our dan Dr said the results were not

reliable. Does anyone have any thoughts on this. I thought I should

add more foods in as Jack's (my scd asd son) behaviour gets better

but what if that doesn't happen for a long time. We have been scd

for 4-5 months now with great gains in the first 3 months followed

by what I thought was a regression, however 6 wks later we still

haven't come though it. 2 days ago I found Kirkman's alpha keto glut

acid was illegal & have since removed.

At the moment we eat pear puree, chicken & carrot soup, zucc

spagetti, roast chicken with skin removed(for amines) & casseroled

meats. I feel quite desperate & frustrated at the moment & could

really do with some words of encouragement.

Thanks so much
