, It is my understanding that your disaibility would not start

until 6 months after quitting work or being unable to work. So

therefore, I dont believe you would be intitled to any back pay. And

something to remember, the final decision depends on the Judge you

have. In my husbands case, even tho he had been off work for 5 years

and trying to get it, the judge ruled him not entitled to any back

pay. And so, a lot of what you get is dependent on that judge and

you need to take any and all evidence of your inability to work and

also witnesses and letters who will testify to that fact.

For some, getting disiblity seems to be relative easy and others

really have to work for it. wishing you the best, Jean
