Guest guest
Hello again Cathy, Yes Brent was very uncomfortable and he gave me some fobb off answer. Did a quick hearing test. He also said that some patients refuse to allow them to do the blood levels, and he was indicationg some stuff without even saying directly who he was talking about. I was extremely dissatisfied, but I am going to bring it up again next time but I am going to try and do some research first. See what I come up with and then have another go at tackling it with them. There has been alot of evidence towards this deafness and tobra. Anyway we had a great report at clinic and is also doing fantastic. We looked into the Azithromycin but has liver disease so they would not put him on it. Gtg girl, so catch up another time. Love a cathy flynn wrote: Hiya a I was wondering if the docs at clinic had anything to say re the Tobramycin and its relation to hearing loss in one of their patients? I would be interested to know their opinion? Hope all is well with you guys. has started the Azithromycin trial (two months ago) and has never been better. It is supposed to combat the inflammation and it sure does that for her. The trial goes for six months after which time who knows however if it does not go onto the PBS it can be purchased outside on script. Unfortunately it cannot be given to anyone with liver involvement. Hope is well. Torsten, congratulations on the birth of your baby son - well done. Cheers Cathy (mum to 7yowf)
