Guest guest
My 3 yo son develops a detox or " viral rash " on the backs of his knees (soft tissue that bends) when he detoxes. I first noticed these rashes when I started supplements a year ago. They used to come and go rather quickly -- like for 1-3 days at most. Since we started SCD 2 months ago, Ben has had this viral rash almost every day. It is about the size of a plum, on both legs, flaky, red, and raised. No fluid that I can see, but there seems to be highs and lows in the rash, like " waves " if you will. Lately, the rash has bothered him and started itching. I have not applied creams of any sort -- just give epsom salt baths and have him wear pants to avoid scratching. His behavior is great and his stools until a few days ago have been decent -- I think we've triggered the 2 month yeasty beasties. I'm just wondering if SCD has allowed his body to detox further and if the viral rashes are a good thing? Has anyone else had a similar experience? in Iowa Family of 6 SCD for 2 months
